Seedhead pinwheel. A couple of simple photoshop manipulations and poor photo of a seed head becomes a colourful pinwheel. I applied the distort / twirl tool and then increased the saturation significantly.
This is the original seedhead image used to create the pinwheel above.

November 30, 2009 – Pic A Day
The Ottawa River races under the Champlain Bridge. No snow on the ground yet. It is late this year. But it sure feels like winter.
It was still pretty early and overcast and thus quite dark out plus I added my polarizer to darken the scene even more and reduce light by about two more f stops (I don’t own a ND filter). The shutter was open 2 seconds at f22.
