Mammillaria species of cactus, probably Mammillaria grahamii growing between cracks in a rock in the Arizona desert. Cacti of the genus Mammillaria are commonly known as pincushion cacti.

Cactus Abstracts

New in my Getty Images portfolio:

I subjected two of my cactus photographs to some “artistic” photoshopping and came up with Hedgehog Cactus Abstract and Pincushion Cactus Abstract. Not only do they make nice prints which I displayed at the West End Studio Tour last September (2011) but now they have also been added to my Getty Images portfolio.
