I have three images entered in this competition which are on display from April 4 to 28, 2013. Spencerville, Ontario is just off Hwy 416, between Kemptville and Prescott, Ontario.
I mentioned in an earlier post that this will be my first year as an artisan in the Churchill Alternative School Annual Holiday Craft Fair!. A week later I will also be participating in the Fisher Park Community Centre Christmas Craft Show and Sale. So if you miss me at Churchill, you can catch me at Fisher Park.
I’ll have a selection of greeting cards and photographic prints (matted in sleeves) for sale. Fisher Park School is in the Wellington West area on Holland Avenue not far from the intersection with Byron and just north of the Queensway (Hwy 417).

The exhibition is over for another year. For the benefit of those who didn’t attend here are a few pictures of my display. Instead of moving all of the furniture from my living room and dining room as was the case in previous years, this year I left the main furniture with a bit of rearranging and included two additional rooms. The net effect was a more open feeling and space for more pictures to hang than last time.
You can see more examples of my display in the Calendar section of the Shows/Exhibitions/Presentations gallery on my website.
You can also view the individual images that were framed and hanging on my walls and racks in this gallery on my website.
I have an upcoming exhibition in conjunction with two other photographers Louis Helbig and Glenn Upton. The three of us will present images under the theme “From the Ground Up” with both aerial and non-aerial images.
FROM THE GROUND UP
Aug 1 – Aug 19, 2012
Photographer Artists: Louis Helbig, Rob Huntley, Glenn Upton
You are invited to attend the opening reception on Thursday August 9, 2012 from 6:00 – 10:00 pm
Orange Art Gallery
233 Armstrong St. (at Parkdale Market)
Ottawa, K1Y 2W5
I hope to see you there.
The past two weekends have had my home open to visitors as part of the West End Studio Tour 2011 (WEST). This was my second year in the tour which consists of 20 artists (2 photographers) in their various galleries, studios and home settings. Good traffic, good conversation, good leads and good sales. Consequently I hope to participate again in September 2012.
For anyone who missed the Tour and is interested to see what they missed in my portion of the show, the images that I had framed on display are shown in the West End Studio Tour 2011 gallery on my website.
Here is one of the popular images from the show which was also the one included in the WEST brochure and on display at the vernissage site at Wall Space Gallery.
